Why I built DOSSIAR
I watched junior RCICs learn on live client files for too many years. The same mistakes. The same refusals. Here's what we built instead.
The honest answer: I watched a junior RCIC I cared about lose her first complex spousal case. The refusal letter arrived on a Thursday. By Friday she was in tears. By Monday the clients had moved to a different firm.
Nothing about her preparation was unusual. She read the manual. She shadowed two senior RCICs. She followed the checklist. She did everything the profession trains us to do. She still got a refusal that, looking back, could have been avoided with 40 hours of focused practice.
That is the gap DOSSIAR fills. Practice you could never afford to do on real clients. Reps you can take a thousand times. Feedback that tells you what a PM would actually flag — before any real dollars or dreams are on the line.
We're building this because the profession deserves it, and because the next junior RCIC should never have to lose a case to learn a lesson the simulator could have taught for free.
